Public Speaking

Zahra Hankir has spoken at numerous venues around the US, UK and beyond, including the Power of Narrative conference in Boston, the Women of the World conference in London, and the London Literature Festival. She has been a guest speaker at New York University, Columbia University, Charleston College, the University of Denver, and the Narratively Academy. Hankir has also spoken at US public libraries, notably the New York Public Library, Carey Library, and Ann Arbor District Library. She also served as the nonfiction workshop leader at the 2024 Leopardi Writing Conference in Italy. She is available for forthcoming events focusing on writing, journalism, and publishing, and is open to teaching opportunities.
